Mothers Day Raffle Quilt

The pretty, modern quilt is now complete and ready to hand over. Kay of Kay's Quilts has quilted this simple patchwork with a good strong geometric design and the wide binding sets off all the colours a treat. I can't wait to buy the Queanbeyan Hospital Auxilary raffle tickets for my chance to win it myself.

The Hospital Auxilary will start selling their raffle tickets in April. We will post details of where and when they are available soon.

Sales Table Frenzy

At Queanbeyan Quilters we are getting very excited. Our Members' Exhibition is fast approaching and there is lots to do. Each Friday night when we get together, Sue has plenty of sewing for us. The aim is to pile the Sales Table high with gorgeous handmade items which you will love and want to take home with you after your visit to the Exhibition! The Exhibition opens on Friday 4th April at 7pm and we'll be there all day Saturday and Sunday, the 5th and 6th April. Opening Night is always a bit special, with supper, a Speaker and door prizes plus you must RSVP to the club to allow for catering numbers.
